Our experience was great from start To finish! Michael met with me and was so friendly like so knew him for years. The lady that called me to arrange about aid was kind and very ready to listen to our needs and our home aide Kwasi was very very friendly and helpful with all our needs from start to finish!! He loves his job and came in with a smile every day and left us with a hug. Anyone that gets him as their aid is so lucky. We even had our Physical Therapist and Occasional Therapist tell us how helpful he was and pleasant he was!!! Rightly recommend!! I thought I might require some help at home, so before leaving the hospital, I called two well known home care agencies. They were unable to meet my request in a timely fashion. Then, I called Executive. I told Mike my needs; he explained their usual scheduling. I informed Mike of what I was specifically looking for; he worked with me to accommodate my wishes. Mike was kind, respectful, understanding. When I settled in at home, I realized I wouldn't need to use Executive, as I had a relative staying with me. We were in the unfortunate situation to find long term care for my mom, and contacted Executive Care with the hope of finding someone qualified, caring, empathetic and could communicate with the family if anything was needed. It was stressful because we needed to find someone, with these qualities, immediately. We did. Executive Care really came through and we could not be happier with the long term care we were able to find for my mom. Executive Care of Southern Ocean literally saved the day. On very short notice they provided a 24-hr live in aide, enabling Mom to stay with her familiar apartment, faces & friends. This wonderful aide, Yaa A., took Mom under her wing, nursing her back to health as she would her own grandma, a true guardian angel!! The loved flowed both ways.... Mom passed recently but this exceptional aide will remain our family member forever. The Executive staff were top notch, going the extra mile in ways too numerous to count. When our favorite aide needed a break they chose a sub who fit right in with Mom's special needs, which were many. Manager Michael B., made himself available day or night whenever some red tape needed to be cut or for any other reason. I recommend this agency unreservedly. Do not hesitate to call them. Both times I was very satisfied with the aide that Michael at Executive Care provided. The most recent experience was just a few weeks ago when we needed a live-in aide very quickly, as my mom was being discharged to come home from the hospital instead of going to rehab as we expected. Michael was able to find someone (in less than 3 hours) who could begin the live-in assignment that same day! I was amazed, and also relieved that someone could be there with my mom so that I or a friend did not have be "on duty" while waiting for an available aide.
